Biography

Michael Danby is a singer, songwriter, producer and agent who has been residing, performing and providing music in the Gold Coast and Brisbane areas for the past eighteen years. In 2004 Michael completed a Bachelor of Event/Leisure Management at Griffith University. In 2007 Michael joined the group ‘Rokeby Venus’ and was involved with two professional releases, many Australian tours, and performed at countless credible events around Australia. Michael then branched into a solo career and registered the business ‘Danby Entertainment’, a company providing entertainment services, specifically live music performances, for a variety of clients, ranging from large public events to private functions (See list of clients below). This has been his primary source of employment since 2008. In 2013 Michael completed a Diploma of Sound Production at Southbank Institute of Technology, now TAFE QLD Brisbane. In 2016 Michael released his debut, solo album ‘Portico’ and is currently touring and promoting this release. With over 10,000 hours of experience in music, production and entertainment Michael is a well trusted and highly regarded professional in these fields.
